Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a broad term, encompassing a set of symptoms. Referring to persistent, progressive airflow obstruction and dyspnea, it may be caused by chronic bronchitis, emphysema or asthmatic bronchitis. Some effects of COPD are permanent, but you can do plenty to help your patients, assess their condition and teach them to manage it. Course objectives include:
